These will be your responsibilities:

  • Maintain and monitor the quality/effectiveness of source code, CI/CD pipeline, automation and testing process, and ensure alignment of goals and capabilities
  • Lead the optimization of enterprise’s software (e.g. patching, configuration management, performance testing, monitoring)
  • Ensure system integration, reliability and security of enterprise blockchain systems and modules
  • Proactively ensure the highest levels of systems and infrastructure availability
  • Design system architecture to support scalability of Upvest’s platform as a service
  • Automate deployment of new code
  • Write great API documentation
  • Lead and participate in R&D, Architecture/Design Analysis and Proof of Concept in new technology initiatives

You're offering these qualifications:

  • BS or MS in Computer Science or equivalent work experience
  • +5 years work experience building and maintaining large-scale production systems
  • Experience with backend development; frontend experience with React/Typescript or strong willing to learn
  • Solid understanding of concurrency and distributed systems
  • Deep understanding of distributed consensus technology POS/POW
  • Experience and deep interest with Ethereum, Bitcoin and/or other blockchain protocols
  • Prior experience publishing or maintaining open source projects
  • Willing to share knowledge and best practices with others, both inside and outside Upvest
